Gary Yuan founded PHISCHOLARS after years of being the student his friends went to for help. He scored a 99.95 ATAR and a 1550 on the SAT, placed highly in many international maths competitions including the AMC and the Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge, and is currently studying Pure Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney. Before PHISCHOLARS, he co-founded and was head tutor at AG Tutoring, a successful tutoring business in New Zealand.

A little about me.
Hi, I'm Gary — I started PHISCHOLARS because I remember exactly what it's like to be stuck on a problem the night before a test. I scored a 99.95 ATAR and a 1550 on the SAT, and I'm currently studying Pure Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney. Outside of tutoring, I'm usually swimming, on the golf course, or doing calisthenics. Explaining things clearly has always come naturally to me, and I've spent the last three years helping students get the marks they're after — without the stress.
